How to Use Gaming Videos to Improve Chinese Listening

Gaming videos can become strong Chinese listening practice if you watch them with the right goal. The goal is not to understand every word. The goal is to understand enough Mandarin to follow what is happening.

That is how listening becomes more natural over time.

Step 1: Watch for the story

Start by watching the episode normally. Let the game screen help you. Notice where the character goes, what problem appears, what item is used, and how the story changes.
